Alumna Alice Leora Edwards was born April 19, 1882 in Monroe, Oregon. She graduated from Oregon Agricultural College (later Oregon State University) in 1906 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. She received her M.A. degree in 1917 from Columbia University and her Ed. D. from Columbia University Teachers College in 1940. In 1917-1918 she was Assistant Professor of Dietetics at the University of Minnesota and in 1921-1926 she served as Dean of Home Economics at Rhode Island College...

Vera Evelyn Garrison attended Oregon State College from 1935 to 1939 and earned a BS in Secretarial Science in 1939. She was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority and served as chapter president. Garrison was born in Nyssa, Oregon, on November 29, 1917 and died in Boise, Idaho, on September 10, 1971. John William Olsen also attended Oregon State from 1935 to 1939 and completed a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1939.
